So what is Fetish Lore?
Richard and I set the forum up in March 2007, so we will shortly celebrate our second birthday. You can read Richard's thoughts about setting up the forum in the
other post in this section.
We were not aiming for huge numbers. We wanted a small community where (as Richard wrote) we could have "a few interesting conversations" about BDSM with a Femdom slant, and about our various fetishes and kinks, with friends. We wanted the forum to be friendly to newbie kinksters. This was important, and I think we succeeded in this.
We also wanted to create a space for kinksters who felt outside the box (Richard wrote: "I often describe myself as a “pansexual polyfetishist” and hope that people who feel similarly unbounded may find this a comfortable place to visit and talk") as well as those who's kinks and fetishes made them feel excluded on other forums. This has worked especially well for Small Penis Humiliation kinksters, who have finally found a free and very active forum here to take part in.
Whatever your fetish or BDSM desires, we hope you find something here as well. We've had many "interesting conversations" over the years which we hope you'll also find useful, and if you feel like posting we look forward very much to hearing from you.
