I do wish I'd tried these before asking about handcuffs. I already considered the thumcuffs risky before I bought them. But the bondage slut in me found their cruelty irresistible.

We limited use of them to several minutes while Alexandra rolled the Wartenberg wheel along my back. I watched my thumbs most of the time keeping it safe but also making it impossible to relax.

That's actually one reason I don't own a pair. If I were concentrated on not snapping off my thumbs, I'd find it hard to focus on whatever other sensations and emotions she was trying to make me feel.

i saw some pics of behind-the-back locking employing hinged handcuffs (shiver) and a pair of thumbcuffs (quiver). Has anybody tried that? i loved it b/c it appears that even with the key you'd be stuck, especially if the keyholes were positioned correctly.

For me, it's an especially potent turn-on to imagine being double-cuffed this way to a post while my Princess lies in front of me with a vibrator and comes until She can't anymore - then gets up to go shower, eat dinner, and watch Her shows, leaving me cuffed to the post.

One of these days we'll (pet and I) have to experiment with ignorement bondage (yes, ignorement is a new word I just made up). I always like the sound of it when it's described but I think I've never really done it.

Have you ever tried using hose clamps tied together instead? They're infinitely more adjustable and can be obtained in a variety of sizes so they're good for use on thumbs or toes.
