A sub I know asked my advice for maintaining hygiene while locked in a CB3000.
Any ideas?

| He'll need to take some q-tips in the shower and use those through the slots. Some have said using one of those high-pressure nozzle attachments works well too. Afterward, I always used some of that clear antibacterial ointment, applied with a q-tip. If he has any piercings, the cage will need to be removed at least once a week to enable him to fully clean them. |

A removable shower-head on a hose is perfect, but not everybody has one.
I use an empty plastic shampoo bottle. I fill it with warm water and a dab of soap, and squeeze it in from front and back, then fill it with warm water and rinse. Working your penis back and forth in the tube also helps.
Also, most guys use baby oil to avoid chafing. I strongly recommend using a thick hand cream (I'm partial to Gold Bond products). The oils do not clean well, and tend to hold in the germs, causing a stronger smell. Creams are water soluble, and clean much easier in the shower.
Just for perspective, using oil I had to take it off for cleaning every few days. With lotion, I once went over 4 months without removing the cage.

| I usually take it off and give it all a good clean. Sometimes I'll pull my penis out when in the tub..clean that and the tube and re-insert. The device is more of a reminder/symbol of our agreement to be chaste so my wife is fine with it coming off for cleaning etc. |

I've been wearing a CB3000 for sometime and to date I haven't managed to keep it completely keep. After a week or so it still gets smelly.
My wife doesn't like me getting dirty, so I'm released every couple of nights for a clean. This is only under her supervision and the CB3000 goes straight back on. |

| Yeah..Ive been having to take it off for cleaning. All it takes is to have the urethra off center once and its all messy inside. |

If my KH caught me out of the device or thought I was pulling out she would get the riding crop out of its box.  |

| For us..the CB is just a reminder of the chastity agreement and a way to prevent stimulation. We had a problem where I was locked after sex...and got a bit of a yeast infection...which got passed back to her. Im mostly required to be locked at home and when playing with friends. Im allowed out for cleaning..sports and such. The point with us isnt to have me wear the CB 24/7..but to use it to help stay masturbation free and to focus on getting my sexual pleasure from pleasuring my wife. |

oh what a fantastic idea you just gave me!!!  How about being allowed out for cleaning every few days, but during that time the crop comes out. Associate time out of the device with pain... hmm..
And it just occurred to me that I'm replying to my own thread which I started months ago. Way to go, me.
